FAFSA Application Process
Our institution accepts students on a continuous/rolling enrollment basis. Students seeking federal financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the applicable award year.
- Complete the FAFSA at the Federal Student Aid website www.studentaid.gov using our school's Federal School Code 039644.
- Submit any required documentation requested by the Financial Aid Office.
- Review your financial aid eligibility and award information once your FAFSA and required documents have been processed.
- Complete any required federal student loan requirements, if applicable, including Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note.
Financial aid is disbursed after all applicable federal and institutional eligibility requirements have been met.
The FAFSA generally opens October 1 for the upcoming award year and closes June 30 of that award year. Because we have continuous/rolling enrollment, we do not establish a separate institutional FAFSA priority deadline. We accept and process eligible FAFSAs received during the applicable federal award year in accordance with federal Title IV requirements.
Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as early as possible to allow sufficient time for processing and completion of any required financial aid documentation.

Federal Direct Loan Program (FDLP)
Direct Subsidized Loans are available to undergraduate students with financial need.
Key Benefits:
- The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest while you're in school at least half-time
- Interest is covered for the first six months after you leave school (grace period)
- Interest is covered during periods of deferment
Your school determines the amount you can borrow, and the amount may not exceed your financial need.
Direct Unsubsidized Loans are available to undergraduate and graduate students; there is no requirement to demonstrate financial need.
Important Note:
You are responsible for paying the interest on a Direct Unsubsidized Loan during all periods. If you choose not to pay the interest while in school, it will accrue and be capitalized (added to your principal balance).
Your school determines the amount you can borrow based on your cost of attendance and other financial aid you receive.
The Federal Parent PLUS Loan for Undergraduate Students enables parents and legal guardians with good credit history to pay the education expenses of each dependent child enrolled as an undergraduate at least half time in an approved educational institution.
If you do not request a deferment, you will be expected to begin making payments after the loan is fully disbursed (paid out).
